Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, submit a vendor application, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, phone number, business details, and any documents or photos you choose to provide during vendor verification. When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, those providers share only your name and email address with us.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve Streatly, process vendor applications and verifications, send notifications about food trucks you follow, and respond to your comments and questions.
Vendor Application Data
Information submitted as part of a vendor application — including business name, registration details, licenses, and permits — is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of verifying your eligibility to list on Streatly. This information is reviewed by Streatly administrators and is not shared publicly.
Location Data
With your permission, we collect your device's location to help you discover food trucks near you. When you check in at a food truck, we temporarily use your device's precise location to verify that you are nearby. We do not retain a history of your precise location beyond the check-in itself. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings; note that check-ins require location access to function.
Notifications
If you opt in to notifications, we may send you alerts about food trucks you follow — including when they go active, update their location, or post new schedules. You can manage notification preferences within the app at any time.
User-Generated Content
When you post a review, check in, or upload a photo, the content you submit is stored and may be displayed publicly within the app. Please do not share personal or sensitive information in public content. You can delete your own reviews and check-ins at any time, and you can request removal of your content by contacting us.
Third-Party Services
Streatly uses trusted third-party services to operate our platform, including Apple and Google for sign-in. These providers may have access to your information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated to keep it confidential. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
Your account information and content are retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile page; deleting your account removes your personal data and associated content, though some content (such as reviews) may be retained where required by law or for safety investigations.
